Theresa Boyar's poetry, fiction, and nonfiction have appeared in several journals, including The Florida Review, Rattle, Lynx Eye, Stirring, DMQ Review, Tar River Poetry, Poet Lore, Small Spiral Notebook, SmokeLong Quarterly, Storyglossia, Wicked Alice, and others.
Her memoir, Peaches, was selected as a Notable Essay of 2000 by the editors of the Best American Essays series. Kitchen Witch, her chapbook, is available from Dancing Girl Press.
In 2011, Theresa founded Mad Muse Writing Studio, located in Reeder's Alley. The studio offers classes and workshops for teens and adults, and also provides tutoring services, private writing sessions, copy writing services, and college application consultations.
Theresa lives in Helena, Montana, with her husband, Brand, and their two sons, Keegan and Tristan.
